Re: Y2k & oil. US imports over half its oil from abroad (Saudi Arabia, Venuzuela, Nigeria, Mexico, and Canada accounting for the majority of that). The countries listed are lagging behind the US's remediation efforts by 9 to 18 months. We better hope there are no problems with those embedded systems otherwise OIL will hit $50/barrel come January. -ng-
