I see, so as long as he was properly distinguishing between the unfortunate and the irresponsible, it's OK with you.

Some see economics as a quantitative science, and some as qualitative.

I fall into the latter category. I think we need to be able to elaborate why he should be stopped, as a matter of principle that supercedes our emotions. Otherwise we spend our capital arguing why the place I would draw the line is superior yours.
