The company has said earnings will be reported on or before 5/17. There are no analysts following VDAT or whisper numbers that I have heard.

Based on everything that the company has said, here is my expectation:

1. Revenues should be up modestly, maybe 20%, from the quarter ended 12/31/98. The new revenue formula will help a little but basically all of the "new" products were introduced very late in the first calendar quarter and won't have much impact until the quarter currently in progress. This applies to both DNET and VDAT.

2. Marketing and administrative expenses should be up substantially as they hired a new IR firm and branding firm, and launched several new products.

3. Bottom line is I fully expect a larger loss in the current quarter than prior. If I don't see it and it's because revenues are up more, then that's great. If I don't see it and it's because they aren't spending on the marketing side, then I won't be so happy. They really need to rev up the communications program now.

4. Year-over-year comparisons will still look good because DNET was not consolidated in the year-earlier period.

The real kick should come in the second calendar quarter. We should see a move approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the distance to breakeven given that the company has projected breakeven by year-end (wasn't clear whether they were talking fiscal or calendar year).
