It's the unexpected ones in the middle of the day that I
**HATE**. With Solaris I never see that happen except when
there's a power failure. My co-workers with NT.... at LEAST
once or twice a week above and beyond the nightly shutdowns.

As for productivity, with all their NT tools etc. Emacs, JavaWorkshop
(Yes, using JDK1.2, so get your facts straight!) is all I need
to be MUCH more productive than MOST of them. Many of them, when
they see what I can do with solaris are starting to convert over.

So like someone else stated, a few good and reliable things are better
than many slow and unpredictable is always better.
