So you take Chuzz's side, two of you against me? Well, you know what they say: two wrongs don't make a right! <vbg> But I think you and Chuzz show a very anthrocentric view of the universe. I have no idea what if any life is "out there," but I know it won't speak English, and I have serious doubts whether its math will look anything like ours. But any further discussion seems pointless since I won't persuade you and you won't persuade me. I succeeded in showing Chuzz a valid equation where 2 + 2 did NOT equal 4. He wanted to try to persuade me that 11 and 4 were the same, but I ain't buying! As to what dolphin, or Martian (not that I believe there are Martians per say, but standing in for the concept of whatever alien life forms there may be -- sort of like the X in an algebraic equation <g>) mathematics may be like. But I suspect they will be quite different from ours. Who knows. Maybe in our lifetime we'll find out.
