I guess we all liked the runup today, long overdue in my opinion. I have heard rumors that approval of C2B8 could be as early as June.
However, that would require an almost unprecedentedly rapid approval. If any drug were in such great need and so clearly useful, this is it.
Even so, it is my personal opinion that approval will come late summer, maybe as late as September. (This would still be a very rapid approval).

I heard in their preliminary meeting with the FDA a number of months ago, the IDEC people made the political blunder of putting the FDA approval on a slide showing their timeline! Not a good idea. The FDA officials pointed out that they would review the application, not necessarily grant approval. It just shows what confidence they (IDEC) have in their data.
