According to a TheStreet.Com (a holding of mine :-) article by Ben Holmes on 5/10, the following IPOs scheduled for this week were generating the most hits at ipopros.com and by implication should be sought after: 1) Time Warner Telecom: 1,245 hits 2) Alloy Online 1,061 hits 3) Copper Mountain Networks 870 hits 4) Tenfold 587 hits 5) Scient 618 hits His "takes" on some of these: Alloy Online -- "The market loves these demographically focused community sites -- compare with iTurf (TURF:Nasdaq)." Copper Mountain Networks -- "If you haven't figured it out yet, I love the DSL providers, and this one should provide some thrills." Intelligent Life -- "This one's got strong revenue growth, but is losing money. Add in the Internet effect and it may be a small-premium deal." Scient -- "This one looks good from where I sit." Tenfold -- "These people know what business they are in. I like it." (Builds and implements large-scale, complex software applications rapidly and for a fixed price.)
