Hi Toy, Welcome back to the thread. It is strange how you don't post when the stock is underperforming the market. Even now it is only stalling for a short period of time. I have sold the balance of MSFT shares today---and only hold some leaps options, representing less than 1% of my portfolio (or a stock equivalent of maybe 5%).
I am still very bullish on this company even though it is underperforming the market. One year from now, you will realize that MSFT will have outperformed all of the indices.
You can bet on that. Do yourself a favour and buy some 2001 options (not yet but on a $3 or $4 drop). I am planning to go 50% MSFT within the next 1 to 1 1/2 months. For me it is only a matter of using funds for on a short term basis on some other opportunities like Canadian cable companies like Rogers, Shaw, etc. I had been buying these the last 3 days and they continue to go up big every day.
I know if MSFT takes over a Canadian cable company in your area, you would be the first one to cancel your subcription and buy some rabbit ear antenna.<g>
