There is certainly a valid business model for the next couple of years at least for the "newbie", who for the most part will use dial-up access. But I also see this as the biggest weakness. Broadband is where it's at and the only thing protecting the dial-up franchise is the price-point. And as dial-up becomes more and more of a commodity the "free or subsidized model" becomes more realistic. "Churn" is commonly referred to in a number of subscription based businesses. I'll review the reported "churn" for publicly reporting access companies and get back on that.
