I do have a position in the company too. At one time I had big
hopes in GDC capturing a good chunk of the ATM market, but that hope
is fading away at this stage. They had some buffer problems on some of
their products but they made some improvement. I talked to them at
comnet. They also license Ipsilon IP switching product which supposed to
give them a good quick edge in the ISP market.

I don't know much about their management. Good technology alone doesn't
mean anything these days. One good thing going for them is that Lucent
technology and Ericsson sell their products... I would hope that one of those
two companies make a bid for GDC. It make sense. LU and ERICY need a
low end exposure to the internet, GDC can be the key.
These are my thoughts only. I will hold on for now. My average position
is at $11.00.
