On CSCO and MOT

Both should be volatile with an upside bias for options expirations. Go with longer-term options should some unforeseen event occur. Even for a quick trade ... go with the longer-term option because the time value will not erode. If you are right you'll get all your money back and then some. Be aware that MOT moved from 55+ to 60 based on a cellular show called CTIA on 3/5 which turned the trend up. Yes, I initiated a trade a few days ago.

As for weighting market outlook ... for longer-term options, look mostly at the stock and its story. Short-term options are more sensitive to market sentiment.
