Then I want to ask him, how is he going to explain these activities right here on the US campus? These Chinese students watch the US TV news report every day, and why do they also react so strongly?

Because they approve of Serbian atrocities?? I have to doubt that for the sake of believing they are not cold-hearted to the tragedy of others.

I would have loved to see some of these students involved in condemning Serbian atrocities and ethnic cleansing, having seen their parents and grandparents suffer at the hands of Japanese genocide against their people.

I would also like to see these students protest against Bejing's coziness with Belgrade. After all, why was the Chinese embassy even open?? Why is it that Bejing has been running interference for Milosevic for the past several years, rather than assisting Europe and the US to resolve the matter peacefully??

The bombing of the Chinese embassy is unjustifiable just as is the retaliatory stoning and vandalism of the US embassy in Bejing by Chinese protesters.

But just as unforgivable is the Bejing and Moscow's blatant permissive attitude to Milosevic's oppression. Too bad Chomsky isn't railing against their combined support of the kleptocracy in Belgrade.

So tell me who really to blame for what happened?? Those who made the mistake in targeting, or those who could have applied the necessary pressure that could have prevented the bombing from beginning in the first place??

The world is not black and white, Yiwu. And we ALL bear a certain guilt for what occurs when we don't take actions to prevent it.

Regards,

Ron
