*There certainly is no rush to use MicroOS* Walter, You surprise me... With all your hard work & study, you have failed to recognize just what part EDIG's MicroOS plays (no punn intended) and just how valuable it really is! EDIG's MicroOS is the KEY to EDIG's ability to design a music player, video player, Audio player, or all of the above VERY QUICKLY. That's why IBM, Lucent, etc. want to use it! In my opinion, if Microsoft wanted to develop a player, they would be many man hours ahead to use EDIG's MicroOS. It will be completely transparent to the consumer... I'll bet there are super drivers, bells, & whistles in your computer right now that you are not aware of that do a fantastic job and the Companies that developed them are getting paid. You & I don't care how they got there... As long as it WORKS! By using the MicroOS (the guts), a given player that currently plays MP3, EPAC, or xxxac could be changed MORE EASILY to add MP99 to the list. The MicroOS will play a very important part in the SDMI program.
