A random thought regarding options expiration - that I would like comments on.

First, please keep in mind that what I know about options could fit in a thimble and you could still squeeze your finger in.

It seems to me that UNCERTAINTY regarding which options strike price a stock will close near (if it does) on expiration day, is one of the key elements the market usually creates, as the day draws near.

With that in mind, it occurred to me that MRVC might pop above $15 briefly on this Best of Category news, then fall back to around this level or a bit lower, thus creating that uncertainty. I think uncertainty would only be created if the price ACTUALLY EXCEEDED $15 before falling back.

This would be important to me in trying to trade MRVC a bit.

Does this make any sense? Bruce, et al what do you guys think about short term moves (next 7 days) in the price level?
