>>New to this thread. Was considering shorting the stock. Had a 2 gig Jaz drive installed about three weeks ago. Makes all kinds of noise and locks the machine up. Figured that any company that sells something this poorly tested and designed would be a good short. But at 5.00/share, I'm not so sure. Any alternatives out there?? <<'

Sorry to hear about your problems with Jaz2. I too had problems with a Jaz drive. The newsgroups are also filled with unhappy Jaz owners.

But there is a new drive called Castlewood ORB that is 2.2 Gigs, costs only $199 msrp, and each additional ORB disk only costs $29 msrp. ORB is now available in either IDE or Parallel port. SCSI is due in 2 or 3 weeks, and USB after that.

As for Shorting IOM, this stock is just dead in the water for awhile. Better short candidates are out there, although a lot of prospects I've been follwoing have already come down somewhat. I'm looking to enter some Internet soon, probably AMZN.
