777, I would not short any company based on one bad experience
with their product. Can understand the sentiment, though.

You ask "Any alternatives out there??"
Do you mean alternatives to your JAZ?
If so, you're in luck. We've been discussing
their competitor ORB here all day.
If you'll just scroll back you will find
opinions and links. I have no idea if ORB will
be reliable, though. Maybe you should consider
getting the JAZ fixed or replaced. It's under warranty.
