The factor concerning money supply that, if not new, at least is an order of magnitude greater than before, that is skewing the analysis is that many countries are using USD instead of their own currency. So many more dollars have been printed to accommodate this. We will need sharp individuals monitoring the world's pulse a few years from now when (and if) these various economies have gotten strong enough that they no longer need USD as back-up.
