i think TSCM's performance today was not par for the course.

Yesterday's open wasn't par for the course either. A lot of people made huge money in this thing and it's not surprising that some would want to lock in that gain. The market is toppy right now anyway so there's always the chance to buy back cheaper. Even if the IPO had opened yesterday where it closed today people would be calling it a huge success.
