That it will attract bidders?

BAM, only to the extent that bidders receive subsidies from PCLN.

That it will appeal to strategic partners?

You mean like offering Delta Airlines more than 15 million shares at $1/share to build up its inventory. Delta will also get a percentage of the sales, yet Delta is under no obligation to provide any tickets to PCLN. The sweetheart deal is worth $2 B to Delta. Meanwhile PCLN will have to sell 200 million tickets to gross that amount, not counting sales expenses. If they sell 7,000 tickets a day, it will take about 80 years.

That its margins are sufficient?

The company is operating on negative margins, certainly not acceptable as a going concern, but good enough to sell its stocks.

Regards,

Tom
