Fear not! I am here to bring order and simplicity to your life. During the last fifteen minutes I have completed an in-depth and comprehensive study of Jainism- and I will not clarify it for you.
Jainism considers the highest ideal to be Tirthankara who possesses infinite knowledge, infinite bliss and infinite power. This blissful state is similar to that of Vedantic 'Chitananda'. Jainism makes distinction between Arhat and Siddha which are analogous to the Vedantic Jivan Mukta (free form life) and Videha Mukta ( free from body ). A Jivan Mukta might also be a Videha Mukta as in the case of King Janaka.

There. I know you are thanking your many Jainist gods and angels and spirits for my existence on your monitor.

Re: Mel--Nonsense- she has no lines to cross. She is always accepting and kind and funny. I believe she is a Jainist.

Edit: I think I have reached my limit on Macadamia nut liqueur.
