I never go to the dlj website anymore. Just use marketspeed. I use etrade because they give me IPO's and I need the funds where the IPO's are. I wish DLJ would lower the 100k IPO policy. I had about the same problems with DLJ as I do with etrade and wit when it comes to balances. I use my full margin potential always, and after buying and selling and cancelling this or that, balances get screwed up for sure. Part of trading online I figure. The only solution I can strive for is to get enough funds so you aren't pushing the limit all the time. I figure this will happen sooner than these brokers get their programs straightened out. I have heard a lot of good things about the AB Watley system for day trading. 20k to open account though. Jenna on the Marketgem thread really likes it. They have streaming and level II but they cost $$.
