According to my software, the 50-day line hasn't crossed the 200-day line yet. What numbers are you getting for the two averages? Check your software, and make sure you are using a 1-year chart. If you use a 6-month chart some software shows a false 200-day MA (less than 200 trading days in 6 months). Remember, 200 trading days takes you back slightly more than 40 weeks due to weekends and holidays. If we had the cross, I don't think we would have dropped 7/16.
