Jim, there's no way Ericsson is getting into CDMA next year. They have all along denied any interest in IS95 and I have been lectured by Mika and co for my obtuseness in thinking that Ericy was even remotely interested. So this report must be incorrect. Check with Tero and Mika, they'll tell you that Ericy is not interested in cdmaOne or IS-95.

Ericy invented Multimedia W-CDMA for Wireless Internet access, back in the 1880s and has repeatedly and time after time categorically stated that they are not interested in and have no need of anything from Qualcomm. Qualcomm was stated time after time by Ericy as breaching patent rights of the great Ericy invention.

Ericy will be selling their W-CDMA invention, but not for a couple of years yet, so this news release must be wrong. If it isn't, then what on earth is going on and who can we believe? Tero? Mika? Ericy?
