Hi Marcos, late 1998 is a long ways off when it comes to penny stocks, at least in my opinion. I believe PLT will easily hit $2 to $3 if they can return to profitability in late 1997 or early 1998. I believe they will show a tiny profit in the 4th quarter this year, but like I say, tiny. Once the company shows it has returned to profitability people will know PLT is on its way back, a return to historical earnings will follow down the road. One thing everyone must remember is PLT's revenues and customer bases is growing very rapidly, this should help the bottom line if they keep costs under control.

Yes, a year from now PLT could very well be worth putting into a RRSP.
However, dividends are very far away, maybe 4 years or more. Any future (next 4 years) profits will most likely be used for acquisitions and working capital.

Have you ever looked at Medical Resorts International (MDRE-CDN)
They are suppose to move to the TSE in the 4th Q of 1997. The stock trades at 50 cents. They just opened a resort Nov 1997, for 2 and a half months of operations they did over a $1 million in revenues and, generated just over a $100,000 (if i remember right) or 1 cent per share. They have 10 mill. oustanding shares and lots of cash. They use to be TRAC industries, name change and they restructured and are going in a new direction. Have a look at their thread !!!
