Mr. Fun, a couple of questions:

Management understands how important it is to be perceived as a market leader in the carrier segment. Alot of rah-rah to assuage both investors and customers - reality is there is a huge challenge ahead.

Does this include the lack of an ATM core switch in the near future?

Do I believe there is a chance that Cisco fails to capture more than a tiny
portion the voice market it covets, leaving it a focused data-only player?
Absolutely yes


To me, this is analogous to being a TV manufacturer that produces televisions without sound. Which would you rather be, market share wise, a TV maker or a monitor maker? Multi-platform switches will be the de facto standard and if your voice aint squat, this will be a strong consideration in the decision process. Your comment?
