Kha, I wouldn't bet on DIMD or MP3 winning the digital music war. I work at one of the major record companies working with IBM. As a matter of fact, I'm a programmer working on getting our data over to IBM. The majors are not about to allow their product to be given away for free over the internet. Artists on MP3 are in general either unknowns with no record contracts or 'hasbeens' that have lost their contracts. Although there is no clear standard yet for securing against piracy over the internet the 5 majors are clearly behind the IBM initiative & I believe this is the one which will win out.
