Frank: Thanks for the Expose'. I appreciate that we abound in Protocols which emanate from the desire to maintain markets, egos and older Investments.

The current discrimination between data and Voice now hinges on the Q0S. As Multimedia traffic increases QOS will be more important to streaming Video/Audio reception. Currently the QoS and statistical Multiplexing of loads is Voice centered and the Carrier Protocols are Voice biased. If data can come up with an equivalent Protocol without the Cell tax , I am sure many will be eager to support it.
