tK2 - I would never advocate or advise anyone to trade, and especially to daytrade. The risks of losing money are great. The gains have to be calculated against the costs - taxes, time, nerves. It is difficult, and requires the right tools, experience, capital etc.

Having said that, it is my *opinion*, that provided one can do it, it makes sense to average down your costs of acquisition to protect yourself against not only a decline, but the "dead money" effect.

MSFT is basing - the longer it does so, the stronger the rise will be. Still, the DOJ case, IMO, will continue to be a very significant factor in holding this stock down.

In the end, the risk of being out of MSFT are greater than being in, *provided* one has averaged down the price of acquisition.

Good luck!

Morgan
