When I see results like that, the thought that comes to my mind is that selection of what market to trade is of more importance than the system used to trade it.

Leaving the fundamental can of worms aside for now, what are(were) the technical characteristics of AOL that make it a good stock to trade? Is it just a matter of relative strength? Volatility? Trendiness?

( But maybe you wanted to discuss building systems that generalize well to multiple markets? Is there such a thing? )
