I have to disagree about the ASE sucking. They have lots of high tech and internet companies which do move when they start getting attention. I do however prefer the VSE but I look for deals on both.

Have you checked out FTL? Its a reverse take over deal with Vancouver Telephone Company. Revenues of 17 mil last year, 2.7 mil shares outstanding, NR expected in two weeks with 1st quater report - supposed to be huge. Revenue for 1999 expected to be 40mil with earnings of about 1 - 1.50. In my opinion, completely undervalued and about to make a huge move very soon.
