United Press International is reporting that University of Pittsburgh researchers have derived fully functional liver cells from adult bone marrow, fueling hope that liver
transplants may some day be obsolete. The scientists say this is the first evidence that stem cells from adult bone marrow can provide a lineage for cells that make up
