Dave, you of all people on this thread should know better!! DRDRAM is ideal as a high speed single channel memory interface. In this targeted roll, it is unsuitable for broadband server applications, and has never to my (limited) knowledge been targeted for such. The announcement that MERCED would not use RDRAM was equivalent to saying the sky is blue (when its not raining that is) :-) Alan
