This is not a "dictionary definition" but my understanding of eclipse means "to out-shadow". Simply put, I understand the statement (from the news release) that you are referring to, to mean that they have booked more OEM sales in first quarter fiscal 1999 (to put a factor to it as you requested - more than 100%) than all of fiscal 1998.

I think the quote by Jim McIntosh CEO from the first paragraph of that same news release sums up the financial outlook for their imaging division quite nicely (the added emphasis is mine) ...

"By exceeding our first quarter objectives, we are now ahead of schedule on a long list of aggressive financial and business goals for 1999. The retail printing business is maintaining aggressive growth and first quarter OEM bookings with our growing roster of major printer manufacturers provide the foundation for a very profitable year."

Having said all that, I still maintain that, while healthy financials are very important, what will drive this company (and the share price) forward is continued success and advancements on the wireless side of the business.

EDIT: When considering the "factor" of OEM sales above. I would point out to you that exceeding 100% of annual sales in a single quarter implies that, if the trend continues, by year-end they will have sold 4 times (or 400%) as many OEMs as in the previous year. Of course this observation needs to be tempered with the thought that there is no expectation on my part that the trend will in fact continue.
