If you can make a stock uptick, then you have manipulated the market. Selling the prospect of volatility? It is possible to sell the appreciation of land on the moon, but you have to find a PT Barnum buyer to do it. It is hard to find financial entities whose price never changes. The only ones which do have either 0 price or infinite price. Air is such an example. What would you pay for it?
