But to argue (even against) that embassy was hit deliberatly is an absurd...and should be left at that
Tell that to Yuwi... She's the one making the claim. All I did was expand upon her theory to suggest complicity by her own government.
Do I believe for a moment that we intentionally bombed the Chinese embassy?? Nope.. or more correct, I pray that we didn't.
Her assertion that we intended to kill their Ambassador and his staff would have gained neither party anything and likely would lead to a complete severing of official ties and a return to a cold (or hot) war.
She makes some dangerous assertions that I don't think either country will to lend credence to.
Personally, the Chinese could declare war against the US and I wouldn't care. Minus a nuclear attack on the US, there is no real means that they possess for physically threatening us. While the US on the other hand, has the means to fly through their airspace at our leisure, knocking out their power grid, destroying the 3 Gorges dam (flooding and destroying their most populated areas), destroying their petroleum industry and arming their dissident masses.
No the Chinese army doesn't frighten me.... And we shouldn't frighten them because if we were looking to dominate and destroy them we could do it at anytime.
So as far as I'm concerned, I say BOTH nations should knock off the rhetoric and BS and get on with designing a peaceful future for both nations focused on cooperation and respect for BOTH sides.
