Jeezles, all misty-eyed here. My high school did a bunch of choral works of Frost, I think they were arranged by Randall Thompson. Lovely stuff, and the best that I remember from my choir years.

The worst stuff was (I cringe to this day) arrangements of pieces by whoever the sap was who wrote "Close to You." Godawful stuff, like four songs. Arranged by a high school senior who was going on to college to major in music. They were so bad I still remember his name, Paul Nasto. Thereafter we all called him Nasty Nasto for making us have to sing that tripe. Not only that, but he insisted on singing a tenor solo, and there wasn't a worse tenor I think in the entire state of New Jersey.
