BHI big block $1 Million at over a Dollar uptick !

at 31-1/4, up 1-1/8, crossed by Lehman Brothers
This is what surprises me here. Some companies here have virtually no earnings upside predicted for 2-3 quarters through year 1999. I think that the Industry is giving analysts a head up here on a strong undercurrent of activity percolating ????
Notice, that even on this retracement of late - we did NOT have virtually ANY big block selling - that was what made this one different imho. Now we are getting buys like this - here at these prices ? - these institutions had months to buy these stocks much, much cheaper.... that tells me that ''someone'' KNOWS that activity is about to turn up and turn sharp.... just my ''gut'' feel here... nothing else explains the Shakeout attempts and now this buying here.... BHI is an early recovery company as well; these upgrades of BHI here are very telling signs imho...
I am still 75:25 E&P's to OSX - bought RIG FLC and a little more PGO, FGI & HOFF on retracement here... I am turning cautiously optimistic over what I ''feel'' from the under-currents here - not from what I see fundamentally however....whatever thats worth ....
It will be hard not to take profits if FGI pops to $19-20 again, RIG to $30-31, FLC to $12 (I may hold my FLC to $30 no matter what - ''this is my SEV") and we move swiftly to OSX 85ish on no real fundamental news.... perhaps it is time to follow the underlying rumblings here....
This is getting real interesting here... APA - not cheap here, great company - but pricey imho; now up strong on huge volume, BHI big blocks at ''these'' prices.... institutions still buying large here... gotta be ''in'' untill something feels hinky here...
Damn; this is like a 3rd & long call; do we throw the screen, do the draw, or lay it out deeeeeeeeep ???? <VBG> ....that's why those QB's get the big bucks I guess... making those audible calls on the line... damn defense won't quit moving around, faking a blitz etc...<VBG>...aint making it easy here... |
