William, our growing climate is quite long ~ usually. I met one gardener who grows vegetables year around. Don't ask me how she does it cuz I don't grow veggies.

This spring has been very, very cold and wet. The spring of 1990 was like that. We went out to dinner with friends at the end of May. We shivered. People wore their winter coats to work in June!

Perhaps, this summer will be similar.
