Did anyone notice IBM's move today? E_commence or E_business message pushed IBM up 19 points! And Gerstner appears to pick SUN as the main competitor: Gerstner, however, appeared cool to the increasingly visible marketing efforts by IBM competitors. He even found it amusing that "one of our competitors" is gunning for the "dot" in the ".com," when they really should be gunning for the whole thing. And wall street kind of believe IBM has the total solution now for E_commence. IMHO, IBM is great at service but the technology isn't as scalable as SUN. In any case, SUN's main competitor now seems to be IBM rather than wintel guys now. Can anyone want to share his opinion about these two friendly alleys or bitter rivals? Regard, Eric
