Shareholders of PC Docs should be outraged by the conduct of the board. Open Text alleges that it did not have even handed access to information and PC Docs agreed to some sort of undisclosed special license arrangement with Hummingbird as part of the revised deal (see the press release). The process was set up to only permit one effective bidder and the board should be held accountable. If this were a more high profile company with significant US shareholders the US lawyers would be looking for scalps. I sold on the press release at $11.00 because it was clear that there could be no possible higher bidder. This is not cricket folks!
