Settle down folks. It was profit taking. Take a look at the Nasdaq 5 minute chart and compare it to Dell. They are almost identical. Look at CSCO, AMAT, INTC, and MSFT, they all came down at the same time. It's just those big guys protecting their 3% annual profits.

I still expect DELL to hit 50 between now and options expiration. But until Dell announces on Tuesday its just along for the Nasdaq ride. The momos got burned last earnings and now their being more cautious.

If CPI numbers are good on Friday I think the market may bounce a bit. If HWP's numbers are good on Monday (and the CEO has already said they were) then DELL should go up. We all know (and now even the bond traders know) that AG will not raise interest rates on Tues. So Mikey & Co. will need to put on a good ra ra show which includes good earnings ($0.16+), good revenue ($5.4B+), an expansion of their stock repurchase program, a good forward assessment of growth, and a free toy surprise.

Best,

Gramps
