Thanks...Big cap genomics seems to be
the hot spot--INCY and MLNM following
through today, but not much action in
the small biotechs, sigh. I'm happy that
I mentioned ICOS was not a buy, it got
downgraded today and went down a few bucks
a share.

I've sure been disappointed in the small
cap bios--I was up a few percent yesterday,
but right back down again today. Sad to say,
but every time a rally does not follow through
the next day, I get a little closer to throwing
in the towel on microcap biotech--I see CNSI gave
yesterday's gains back today. Just cant find a
winner. Meanwhile, the tech stock I had picked
to trade a couple months ago --Pairgain at $8
has done beautifully--without me. Just flipping
in and out of that would have been rewarding,
and entertaining!

But I suppose it wouldn't be the first time a
person got into the market thinking he had the
right sector at the right time, and the market
punished him for his naivte. Run with the bulls,
daytrade the nets and techs! So what was I thinking
when I bogged down in third tier biotech??
Better luck to you!

I see also that I am hurtling toward my 2000th post
since I jumped on SI. I probably will give up when I
get to my millennium marker and just start up fresh
with a new SI account and an alias--hop on one of the
daytrader threads, and just go nuts. Sad to say, but
that is what worked last year just fine--investing
in biotech since then has not{:-(}

After all, is it really about investing? If you
are not rewarded for staying in a stock--(I've been
in NTII for a year now and it hasn't done anything
for me) why not chuck it all and move on?
