Scumbria, you are correct: there is no evidence the statement is not true.

Also, I am correct: there is no evidence this is an endorsement by MS.

Kevin, I appreciate your concern for clarification. My goal was sincerely along those lines too. My point was to only correct people's incorrect assumptions. They immediately assumed MS made an endorsement of AMD in this PR, which would be incorrect. A PR would need to contain the MS boilerplate (which you get from MS) in order for it to be known MS is actually making such an endorsement. Which is why company announcements are sometimes ignored when they lack both boilerplates. That's why all good PRs are done jointly, (when they involve claims made by a company on behalf of another company.)
