I agree the faulty map explanation is difficult to swallow, I sure hope the CIA is better informed than that. However, it still remains a question of why the US would deliberately bomb an embassy, collusion with the Serbs or no. Another question, what is the legal status of an embassy that is aiding and abbetting a combatant in a war zone? Is diplomatic immunity a blank check for aiding a combatant? Certainly the US would have been better served by using such information to embarrass the Chinese politically...
