speaking of gymboree, i had the chance to visit the mall (check back posts for the last time i visited, which was months ago) today and saw some girl's bathing suites on sale at 50% off. some more items at 25-30% off. old items from past season are also marked of but can't rem by how much since it's the first thing i saw when i went all the way to the back to start my investigation.
i also checked babygap and they also had sales on some itmes, as all retails do. i don't know why the sale on summer item (bathing suite) listed above but i assume it's a promotion or something. it was quiet there at around 3pm pdt and the mall in general was empty. this is why, frankly, i decided to go during that time --no traffic on freeways, close parking at the mall, less people to grab employee attention (in case i need help), etc.... by all means this co. seems to have a turnaround. i have a few hundred shares (bought back) but it is much less than i used to own. frankly i didn't think it will jump so fast. marty

the mall was at west side pavilion located in west los angeles/westwood. i don't know their number but you can check gym's website, get their number, and verify if i'm right. i spent less than one minute at the store. |
