GOQCOM....DECT DECT is a CORDLESS SYSTEM that is making in roads into buildings as a solution for greater mobility.Lets say its a SUPER CORDLESS system and it is being marketed to hotels,hospitals,offices,shoping malls ect ect ect. You've almost got it. It's a CELLULAR SYSTEM . From a network architecture viewpoint, the big difference between DECT and CDMA/GSM is cell size. It's CORDLESS if configured with one (home) basestation. Your target markets are spot on. The market would seem to be large or maybe on a worldwide basis very large.* Well - the Japanese thought so, and invented their own DECT clone, PHS. Unfortunately, the PHS market tanked when Japan caught Asian flu last year. Will it recover? I don't know. w.
