Plenum/LION Acquires Consumer Mortgage Web Site

Acquisition Launches Company into Projected Multi-Billion Dollar Consumer Internet
Mortgage Origination Business

SEATTLE, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Lenders Interactive Online Network (LION), a
wholly owned subsidiary of Plenum Communications, Inc. (OTC Bulletin
Board: PLNM - news), today announced the acquisition of the assets of Denver based
IMark Design Group, Inc., a leading provider of mortgage broker
homepages and developers of two high traffic Internet mortgage sites for consumers --
Mortgage 101 ( mortgage101.com ) and American Mortgage
Online ( amo-mortgage.com ). The two sites are ''aggregator sites,'' meaning
that many mortgage providers are represented on the sites rather than just
one lender. Collectively, they receive over 8 million consumer hits per month from nearly
half a million unique visitors.

Sam Ringer, President/CEO of LION, explaining the reason for the acquisition and
future plans for the site, said, ''The acquisition of IMark is a perfect fit for both
companies. It provides LION a much faster entry into the rapidly evolving market of
delivering mortgages to the consumer over the Internet, and brings significant
enhancements to the IMark developed sites. LION is already the dominant Internet
portal for mortgage brokers and their wholesale lenders with over 4650
mortgage brokers and 425 wholesale lenders participating. Currently LION Loan
Search allows mortgage brokers to quickly locate the best loan program for their
consumer clients. We have looked forward to the day when we could convert the
wholesale loan search into a retail loan search that would allow consumers to find
the most appropriate loan program through the most competitive source -- their local
mortgage broker.
