It all depends on how you look at it.

"... It looks real bleak unless courts will get us money from Ericcson or Nokia comes up with more money or we are sold..."

Sam, I can understand your slant on this company, but from a distance and not tainted by the mismanagement facts which you are aware of, I would offer the following..

1. most companies during their best years can only dream of the success of IDC, no matter what how they came about their profits. This reminds me of a store I had on Martha's Vineyard, where we sometimes sold a very expensive custom piece of clothing to go along with the smaller purchases, and I always told my wife to remember that we were not doing that well if you took away that BIG sale. But the big sales turned out to be a recurring and regular part of the business, and so it was a success even though I was looking at the business as a pessimist.

2. Through no fault (or effort) of their own, we are now entering into the age of wireless, and they are THERE. Many companies and employees (and stock holders) would wish to be so fortunate. This is the right place at the right time. Get some distance and look at it from a new perpective if possible. This is the place to be, no matter what the past. Now if the management can be changed, transformed or enlightened, we will be riding the crest into the future. You may have paid heavy dues, but don't give up now, it should be the start of good things to come. I wouldn't say the same for many other companies.

3. Earnings are the new criteria. Many investors are now turning to real earnings vs. potential earnings. We will see new money flow into companies who have proven that they can earn money (no matter how they do it) and this will be good for IDC. Don't be negative. Earnings are earnings, as long as they are legal.

I hope I am not being too optomistic. I am being sincere and hope to bring you some renewed hope based on tangible assumptions. I know how it feels to be beyond hope. The only thing worse is to give up JUST before things turn around.

Barry
