Here's a "CLASSIC" story.........I signed on with E-Trade a couple
of years ago way before the "NEW" E-trade was established. A pattern
was also established over two years as to messages, confirmations, etc. If I ever had a margin call, E-Trade was nice enough to call me
or they would "ALWAYS" send a message to me saying that the margin
was going to be called, at which point I would send a check or sell
the stock of "my choice" to cover the margin. No problem. While still on the classic site about two months ago, I had a small margin of about $6,000. And I admit that I knew this margin existed, but was on vacation and had had no message warning from E-trade that it would
be called. I checked my computer everyday for messages. On March l6, E-Trade sold three of my stocks to cover this margin without a message warning or a phone call to me, which had ALWAYS been the pattern for TWO YEARS! I immediately called E-Trade, which took at least one half hour to get through and asked them how they could sell my stocks with no warning. The woman's reply was that I had been sent an "alert" long before the stocks were sold. I said, "No, I received no message". She said, "yes, you did." I said, "show me where the message is" and her response was that it was on the NEW site, which up to that time I had never used and still had a month or so to go before the "Classic" site was retired. She then admitted that no message had been sent to the "Classic" site, as had been the norm for two years; and consequently, my 15,000 shares of EDIG which I purchased at $.21 was sold by E-Trade at $.13. Two weeks later, EDIG went to $3.50. Now, I would say that that was about a $50,000 gain that I never realized, THANKS TO E-TRADE!!! And, that's that story!!

Anyone else?
