Mpath Interactive Announces First Quarter Financial Results
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 1999--Mpath Interactive, Inc. (Nasdaq: MPTH - news), today reported revenue of $2.1 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 1999 compared to $1.5 million for the same period last year. The Company had a net loss of $6.0 million for the quarter, or $1.89 per share compared to $3.4 million, or $1.73 per share in the first quarter of 1998.
The Company's Live Communities division accounted for $1.1 million in revenues for the first quarter ended March 31, 1999, compared to $0.3 million for the same period last year. Revenues for the Company's Mpath Foundation were $1.0 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 1999 compared to $1.1 million for the same period last year.
*On April 29, 1999, the Company completed its initial public offering through which it sold 3,900,000 shares of common stock for gross proceeds of $70,200,000.
